TOTHOM is a project produced by NeLa Projects, created by Lucia Bérešová and Néstor Calderer. Comprising 16 singers of various nationalities, the show provides a staged invitation to reflect on the connections we establish in life. This is achieved by combining the music of choral group ResonArt Vocal Ensemble and the voice and performance of Maider Lasa Santamaria with electroacoustic technology, videomapping, movement on stage, acting, poetry, and lighting effects to support the narration of a story about how people relate to each other and to nature. The fusion of all these disciplines manages to create a sensory experience through an innovative performance format in the world of choral singing in Catalonia.
NeLa Projects is a meeting space for professional artists who have come together to create TOTHOM, their first staged project. This project had its premiere at the Auditori Sant Martí in Barcelona on July 15, 2023. All the members involved in the TOTHOM project have extensive experience in the creation of staged projects in various disciplines. These include Contemporani Eteri by Lucia Bérešová, a choral performance with interactive videomapping; Lugares by Néstor Calderer and Sergio Bernardi, an electronic music installation-concert with videomapping; Arritmies by Néstor Calderer, a music and dance show; and Guerra de identidad by Deborah Vukusic, a theatrical project.
This is the tenth edition of INFLUX festival [ video on stage ] that, once again, collaborates with Antic Teatre to promote artists who use video and digital media as an integral aspect of artistic expression in their stage proposals. The festival includes works by visual artists, musicians, poets, dancers, performers or theatrical creators who work in the in-between and hybrid spaces. INFLUX aims to provide visibility for local creators from Barcelona and Catalonia and wants to help display the diversity that exists in contemporary creation. The INFLUX festival is organized by HABITUAL VIDEO TEAM.
