Ana Rodríguez León
Filmmaker trained at ESCAC in Barcelona. Her work moves within hybrid documentary, videoart and fiction. She has directed numerous short films that have been shown at festivals such as Cinespaña Toulouse (France), Message to Man (Russia), L’Alternativa and the Las Palmas Festival.
She is currently in the post-production phase of her first film, entitled The language of ruin, which has been part of the international laboratory Arché and Cinema Pendent de L’Alternativa.
In the field of literature, she has written the book Glitch, published by Madrid publishing house Zoográfico, which specialises in poetry and poetic prose. Also a short story, The oasis, in science fiction anthology Shorai (Pulpture).
This is the tenth edition of INFLUX festival [ video on stage ] that, once again, collaborates with Antic Teatre to promote artists who use video and digital media as an integral aspect of artistic expression in their stage proposals. The festival includes works by visual artists, musicians, poets, dancers, performers or theatrical creators who work in the in-between and hybrid spaces. INFLUX aims to provide visibility for local creators from Barcelona and Catalonia and wants to help display the diversity that exists in contemporary creation. The INFLUX festival is organized by HABITUAL VIDEO TEAM.
