The two calls for submissions that take place every September are back once again:

– The 2nd Call for Dance in local theatres for the 26-27 season

7th Call for Submissions of Texts and Projects
From 7 September to 12 October 2026
Projects for the 2027–28 season
The aim of this call for submissions is to encourage the creation of all forms of theatre with a view to promoting and disseminating them.
We aim to promote contemporary theatre, focusing on Catalan playwrights (both emerging and established), to create a theatre in which the audience can see themselves represented, to forge links with other cultural and social actors in our neighbourhoods and extend these to the rest of the country, to bring the theatrical experience as close as possible to the audience, and to serve both as a space for established artists and as an incubator for new creators.
The project submitted must be a new creation and must not have been previously premiered, although it may be based on a research process or previous work.
If the project incorporates content by other authors, this must have the necessary authorisation from the rights holders. Otherwise, the participating group will assume full responsibility.
As part of this call for entries, and more specifically (as set out in the terms and conditions linked below), the Antic Teatre is seeking a ‘hybrid stage’ piece. This category may include: popular experimental theatre, performance art, contemporary theatre, contemporary dance, contemporary circus, multimedia and multidisciplinary works.

2nd Call for Dance Proposals in Local Theatres in Catalonia
From 7 September to 12 October 2026
Projects for the 2026–27 season
The call for proposals for dance exhibitions in community theatres in Catalonia aims to forge a new link between dance companies and community theatres, enabling the delivery of a high-quality programme that reaches new audiences in the various towns participating in the project. The selected performances will form part of the ‘T’apropem allò que ens mou’ programme, the 2nd Community Dance Cycle.
The association ‘On el teatre batega’, with the support of the Catalan Institute of Cultural Enterprises (ICEC) of the Department of Culture of the Government of Catalonia, is promoting this initiative as part of the 2nd Plan for the Promotion of Dance in Catalonia 2023–2026.
