FIVE LINES is a multidisciplinary performance in which the various situations that the protagonist tells us by means of a voice-over can be observed from different points of view, thanks to the synthesizing power of the language of micro cinema theatre.
A dystopian setting in which the earth, dying of climate collapse, pushes society to adapt by locking itself in claustrophobic spaces, sacrificing freedom in exchange for security. Love and the will to live will accompany, like a distant melody, the flow of this adventure in which we must find out if we still have alternatives along this life path. In FIVE LINES, we claim the ironic persistence of hope even in the toughest situations, which allows us to imagine and sometimes create better worlds.

Mina and Matteo met in 2016 at a Micro-Cinema-Theatre workshop. Both were deeply fascinated by the “mini world” that can be shown on the big screen, and decided to embark on a journey together. Since then, they’ve played together in a a range of musical bands, created a street theatre show, and together they manage the Can Pink i Boogie cultural centre in Mataró (Barcelona).
FIVE LINES is the show they‘ve had in mind to create for years and which has finally seen the light after the crisis linked to Covid19. During 2020/22, while devising the show, they continued with their training, Mina in the field of scenography and sculpture and Matteo in music.

This is the tenth edition of INFLUX festival [ video on stage ] that, once again, collaborates with Antic Teatre to promote artists who use video and digital media as an integral aspect of artistic expression in their stage proposals. The festival includes works by visual artists, musicians, poets, dancers, performers or theatrical creators who work in the in-between and hybrid spaces. INFLUX aims to provide visibility for local creators from Barcelona and Catalonia and wants to help display the diversity that exists in contemporary creation. The INFLUX festival is organized by HABITUAL VIDEO TEAM.
