LETTER OF SUPPORT
Dear colleagues from L’Antic Teatre,
Due to the very hard situation in this moment for L’Antic Teatre, this is just not a formal “letter of support”.
This is a support for all the fantastic people, creators, workers, artists and their audience who make great space fro creativity, art, culture, living.
I am sending this letter from Croatia as a person who as been twice performing in L’Antic whit independent theatre group Trafik and as a general manager of Rijeka City Puppet Theatre who finds L’Antic great partner for collaborations in Children’s programme. I am sending this letter from Rijeka, European Capital of Culture 2020 who sees L’Antic as an important capital of art and culture in Barcelona which has programmation for all audiences – from babies to old people, what is a rare good practice in theatre nowadays! Moreover, it is the only way you can make art visible for wide audience and make culture being true part of our lives, part that we truly need as human beings.
It is so easy to destroy something and so hard to build. So please, let such important place as L’Antic Teatre stay alive!
