Tempesta i fúria (work in progress) is the result of performance research carried out with the Antic Teatre’s Community Arts Group (local residents aged 65+) and the Adolescènics collective (Fundació Albert) inspired by the Romantic movement. We launch the bodies of the participants into an area of free expression where the undeniable protagonists are the exaltation of sentiments, youth, nature, the freedom of aesthetic forms and artistic languages, but also death, that which we fear, what unsettles us. To transmit these concepts on stage we rely on choreographic action, performative imagery, exalted pop lyricism, choruses of shouts and passionate texts written by the participants themselves.
Marta Galán Sala (author and director, cultural manager and teacher), Montserrat Iranzo y Domingo / Dansalut (choreographer, dance therapist and social worker), Pau de Nut (sound designer, singer, performer and cellist) and Abel Montes (actor and video maker) make up the artistic team that, for the past two years, has accompanied the intergenerational community arts process bringing together the Antic Teatre Community Arts Group (local residents aged 65+) and the Adolescènics collective (young people aged between 14 and 17 from the Fundació Albert). In November 2023 they presented the first draft of the project they are working on: Tempesta i Fúria.
