Roger Pelàez moves across a stage in ruins, destroying and carrying destruction inside.
He sings, he dances; he spits in the air and swallows it.
He recites the classics (badly).
He interprets signs (misleadingly).
He establishes fictitious correlations.
He gets it wrong wherever this is possible.
Roger Pelàez had been dragging himself across stages with hardcore and punk bands for years until he realised he’d been left alone on stage.
He has illustrated jokes for TMEO, Pèsol Negre and La Jornada among others.
He has compiled these jokes in books such as Yo follé con Fraga, La Verdad es ilegible, Hegemonia Persecutòria and El procés explicat als idiotes.
He has been vocalist for Budellam, Perro Pachingo, El mal ja està fet and, currently, Zombi Pujol.
All very decorative, all very provisional.
