The sound of movement. FH23 is the work of searching and creating.
The two performers want to arrive at a common language between their artistic disciplines, using contemporary improvisation to compose this in real time.
Real-time composition is the most contemporary aspect of this style. It is interpreted as it occurs, without taking into account any future repercussions and without needing to be performed again in the same way. The present is created for the present. It is a representation of ephemeral art.
Núria Andorrà has worked with contemporary music groups Barcelona 216 (Catalonia) Icarus Ensemble (Italy), Algoritmo (Italy), Ensemble Abstraï (France) and Murtra Ensemble (Catalonia). She has also worked in other artistic disciplines with composer Carles Santos. She played Mikrophonie I by K. Stockhousen with Matmos at the REC festival (Italy), and has created the NÜ Ensemble with clarinettist Naüm Monterde.
Dory Sánchez has been working with Cia Mudances/Àngels Margarit since 2005. She has danced with La Intrusa Danza in Devenir Lux, with Peter Greenaway and Saskia Boddeke in the interdisciplinary show The Blue Planet, with Cia. Cel Ras and Cia Marina Donderis.
