In comes a gust of broken radio
it brays against the buildings
one blow is not enough
more are needed for the wall to give.

CAROLINA CABRERIZO
Video, collage, slide manipulation, dirtied images, glitch, found footage… visual jetsam from a dreamlike and chaotic world. She has collaborated and worked on joint experiences with visual artists, poets, musicians, dj’s, and theatre and dance companies. You could have seen her at the Flux 2016 Videocapsa, at the 11th Sound and Visual Fair at the Sant Agustí Convent, or with her latest project, Hypnagogia.

ZOZOBRA
Birthed and suckled in the first months of the marX bar, for the past ten years he’s been moving around and looking for a rhythm to which he draws inexorably closer but has yet to touch. Voices filtered by effects that turn into textures, sampled, deformed. He’s been through the LEM and has an LP with the Màgia Roja label from 2017.

This is the sixth edition of INFLUX festival [ video on stage ] that, once again, collaborates with Antic Teatre to promote artists who use video and digital media as an integral aspect of artistic expression for their work on stage. The festival includes works by visual artists, musicians, poets, dancers, performers and theatrical creators who exist in the inbetween spaces. INFLUX aims to become an established platform providing visibility for local creators from Barcelona and Catalonia and to help provide a multifaceted vision of the diversity that exists in contemporary creation.
