10 years ago at the Antic Teatre, on 13/12/14, when a series of elements came together causing an interdisciplinary breach where creativity and the cohesion between different artistic disciplines found a new path, Núria Andorrà performed her first music and dance piece. On Friday 13/12/24, this vortex will be reopened: everyone present will be able to participate in an interdisciplinary experience, unique and unrepeatable, and some of them won’t be the same when they leave as when they came in. I wouldn’t miss it.
Núria Andorrà is a percussionist, composer and creator. With both classical and contemporary training, she has always sought to drink from multiple founts of inspiration. Núria Andorrà creates, using a medley of artistic disciplines, a world where images, images, sound and body come together as equals to transmit emotions. She has been awarded the “Alícia” Prize by the Catalan Academy of Music, the special Zirkòlika Award 2020, and the Puig Porret Prize awarded by the Mercat de Música Viva of Vic. She has played with musicians Fred Frith, Le Quan Nihn, Joëlle Léandre, Refree, Agustín Fernández, Tom Chant, Yasmine Azaiez and Christiane Bopp, and with the dancers Julyen Hamilton, Manel Salas, Federica Porello, Almudena Pardo and Sònia Sánchez. She has also worked with artists such as Carles Santos and Hèctor Parra.
