Artist, builder and creator: Karl StetS
Lighting: Ivan Tomasvic
Music: Duke Ellington, Kurt Weil, Brahms and StetS

A musician comes on stage, gets dressed and straps on his instruments. Multi-instrumentalist, he is a juggler of rhythms and melodies. Great jazz classics, a range of folk themes, and his own tunes all are mangled by a character obsessed with playing everything at once, and desperately striving to achieve this goal. It may be inevitable that, at times, the instruments take over.

Karl StetS is a Danish artist living in Barcelona. He has been making Circus Shows for more than 25 years, mostly as an artist and as director. Having been a member of Circus Circor in Sweden he began to travel round southern Europe, first with company False Majeure and later with LicedeLuxe, which took him to Barcelona.

He has worked with other artists, such as Manolo Alcántara on his show Plecs and Leadra Ribera on Rodo. Ten years ago he began his solo Cuerdo, with which he toured intensively round the cities of Europe. He has played with the bands Gadjo, Always Drinking Marching Band and the Buzan Dukes.
