Quim, absorbed in his own thoughts, transforms the stage into a bestiary, where he himself appears as a human rooster. Various different characters take the stage as protagonists and then merge into the storyline. Always present, he will give life to each of the characters in the story, who will in turn lead us to question the human aspects of animals, the animal aspects of humans, masculinity and femininity and how they are all connected.

What is animal and what is human?

This piece exposes the unbounded strength we all have within us that connects us to our most primal selves. Transgenic bodies, handstands, acrobatics in high heels, a spoon up the nose, a cockfight and ritual dances.

Welcome to my world!

Quim Giron was born in Barcelona and is now 28. He researches and works with balance, sound, music, clown, animal movement and astronomy.
His training began in Barcelona in the Rogelio Rivel Circus School where he specialised in handstands. He took part in Rodó, 10è Circ d’Hivern, winner of the National Award for Circus in Catalunya. In 2006 he enrolled at LE LIDO circus school in Toulouse, where he developed his acting skills and his on-stage personalities.
He discovered street performance in Switzerland performing in the streets of Geneva, and then decided to move north to finish his studies at DOCH (Stockholm University for Dance and Circus) specialising in handstands and acrodance. There he received the Sophie Hultens award for “his creativity, risk-taking and circus skills”.
