Using a 1936 conference by Roger Caillois called La fête (The Party) as a starting point, we select various fragments which are then read, re-read, recited and synthesised until we have improvised a sung phrase. The actions are repeated in a loop as the space is taken over and bodies are worked to exhaustion. The conference is divided into four days of presentation and a fifth day, after the play, where the audience is invited to a kind of conclusion in the space of LaCapella at Hospital Street.
