Based on the ideas expressed by William Morris in his lectures, and through the manipulation of objects, small automatons and period audiovisuals, the audience is challenged to reflect on how modern labour and consumption structures have been linked to forms of slavery, where individual freedom, creativity and the feeling of community have been crushed in favour of a system that promotes economic profit above all else.

Pepe Seguí. Having spent more than ten years as a member of CaboSanRoque, with whom he created, premiered and performed around ten of his own productions, and after another ten years where his focus remained creative, but not theatrical, in 2022 he embarked on a new phase that culminated with the creation of the show Labor, with which he transports us to those fragile, free from artifice beginnings.
