Taking a walk is an improvisation piece created for dancers and audience to journey together into our imaginations, through movement and the element that unites us.

A process where the involvement between the dancers creates an intense, fresh, sensitive and honest spectacle, giving rise to fragments of human relationships by which we can identify ourselves or see ourselves reflected.

In 2007 Helena Pellisé and Guy Leon meet while dancing in Israel. Since then they have been developing together their body and movement work using improvisation as a performance art and pedagogical tool. They also collaborate together within dance company Los 3 nombres de un gato, with which they practice improvisation as a collective process.

Their latest co-creation is the solo Fragments de cos, premiered in Antic Teatre (January 2013), in which they begin to create a performance working methodology together. With their new piece Taking a walk they reap the harvest of more than six years collaboration and so explore further their methodology to create this duo.
