Meduses amb Nata (Jellyfish with Cream) is an erratic journey through the madness of comedian Godai García: a wild and humorous show where lyricism of the most refined is combined with irreverent stand-up; an oral exposition of ideas, stories and psychotropic hang-ups, as pleasant as a dessert made of jellyfish and cream.
Godai García is the alter ego of Galdric Plana, actor and scriptwriter, who has written and acted in works such as Meravellós Desastre by Oques Grasses, or Tot és blanc. He also writes and presents radio show Això fred no val res, broadcast on twelve different Catalan channels.
Godai García’s shows have been going on for years and generating enthusiastic responses all over Spain, from festivals such as Wevoo, Protesta and LEM – International Annual Experimental Music Meeting to an endless stream of community and social centres, and lugubrious venues with bad acoustics.
He keeps chickens and grows delicious spinach in his vegetable garden.
