CORTEXXX is an experiment with sound and vision. Musical styles range from the deepest to the highest sounds, incorporating soft vocals, a slow electronic beat and a backing chorus, creating a collage of sound.

The visual side takes us travelling through a collage of fragmented landscapes that appear and disappear, creating a narrative that takes us from the most humdrum places to the places of our dreams. The different video editing techniques combined with live filming are the structure that supports the visual atmosphere of CORTEXXX.

Bewis de la Rosa is an interdisciplinary project by Beatriz del Monte, which she uses to investigate the concept of <RURAL RAP>. Her first work is called Amor más que nunca and proposes two lines of thought to reflect on: love and rural life. It collects essays, songs, videoclips and performative concerts. Her discourse is based on critical thought, transfeminism, degrowth, historical memory and mental health, using love and art as a means of social transformation.

Coconauta is the alter ego of Valentina Risi, a spiritual castaway who travels through chaotic worlds of sound, emotional and vibrant landscapes that tell us about time, existence and knowledge, love.

Marta Lofi is a craftswoman of images, a visual voyager who takes us to poetic and placid places where she shows us landscapes that evolve into psychedelic distortions.

Beatriz del Monte. An interdisciplinary artist, she is a dancer, actor, choreographer, researcher and teacher in the fields of dance and physical theatre, as well as a writer of theatre and performative poetry, and thinker. Since 2014 she has directed her own Dance and Physical Theatre Research Company, Malditas Lagartijas. In 2021 she began a musical project, Bewis de la Rosa, where she delves into the concept of <Rural Rap>. Her discourse contains critical thought, transfeminism, degrowth, historical memory and mental health, using love and art as a means of social transformation. She graduated in Contemporary Dance Choreography at the María de Ávila Conservatory, and trained at International Theatrical Research Lab TNT-ATALAYA.

Seventh edition of KONVENT A L’ANTIC: the once-yearly chance to see, in Barcelona, work by artists living at Konvent de Cal Rosal, a former, late 19th century convent that has become a multidisciplinary and self-managed arts centre.

Just like Antic Teatre itself, Konvent is a cultural disrupter: a space for art, but at the same time a way of creating and understanding culture within a geographical context. Both spaces are dedicated to the constant tracking and observation of the arts scene, as well as fostering and promoting new work.  The Antic Teatre/Konvent combo has been the instigator of many well-travelled shows such as Rebota rebota y en tu cara explota, by Agnés Mateus and Quim Tarrida, winner of the Crítica Noves Tendències 2017, FAD Sebastià Gasch Aplaudiment 2018, and Butaca 2018 Noves Aportacions Escèniques awards.
