In the sequence of the measures approved by the Generalitat de Catalunya derived from the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, Antic Teatre – Espai de Creació postpone Nosotros No Olvidamos until new warning.

On December 15, 1992, Pedro Álvarez, a 20-year-old man from Verneda (Barcelona), headed towards L’Hospitalet de Llobregat to meet his girlfriend, as he did every day. Shortly after, he is involved in a traffic incident and is killed by a policeman.
A policeman who for the past 26 years has benefited from a judicial system that provides him with impunity, from corporatist state security forces, and from politicians unable to stand up to instances of police abuse.

The case for this murder reaches its statute of limitations in 2020. Nosotros No Olvidamos (We Don’t Forget) is a documentary created to support the fight against this expiration.

ACATS is a self-managed audiovisual production association that brings together several creators from the documentary world. A tool to share resources and make us more capable of generating free content.

Our goals are to give voice to the social movements that are fighting daily in the streets for a better world; to stand up to the systematic criminalisation of activists and dissidents by having the hegemonic media show their more human side; and finally, to recover the historical memory of social movements through the publication of works containing an extensive documentary compilation of their experiences.
