V7: l’art de silenciar is a theatrical work based on the research of fear and freedom of expression. The tension and debate that censorship and self-censorship entail are deeply embedded in the piece as the concepts that control free thought and free expression. What are the limits? Why do we apply censorship? How much divergence do we accept?
The piece shows two characters who meet on stage where they represent an eternal and thought-provoking dialogue. One, the Whore, as a symbol of the perversion and submission of women, and as a character questioning the patriarchal system that imposes laws of control, and two, the Censor, who will encourage the Whore to tell her story, expose herself, feel…

Her productions include Mousiké with Ariadna Planas, Estridències, co-dircted with Jordi Purtí, Mossegades with the collaboration of Jango Edwards, L’amor no fa mal and Massa tard per ser pessimista with Laura Freijo & Cristina Lügstenman, Accions de Resistència (with text by Marta Galán, awarded the Premi de Teatre BBVA 2020) and Red Room with dancer Sol Picó, which premiered at Temporada Alta 2019. As an actress and performer she has worked with several Catalan directors such as Marcel·lí Antúnez on Afàsia and Pol; Eva Hibernia and Júlia Bel on Las 13 Rosas; Roger Bernat on Terra Baixa (Teatre Lliure 2022) and Marta Galán on Els diners, el Desig, els Drets and Forasters Vindran (Teatre Lliure, 2021).
