Pacífico #1 is the first in a new series of misbegotten, dramatic, audiovisual pieces through which I am trying to trace the map of my current obsessions. It’s a map to help me try and understand why I do what I do, why I write what I write, and why I follow what I follow to exhaustion with the camera from my mobile phone.
America is a sea by another name is an autobiographical piece that invites us to think about ourselves in the third person, as if for a moment there was no ‘us’, as if we could see ourselves projected on a screen. It’s just another excuse to wonder whether, having arrived at this point in our trajectory, there really is an ‘us’.
