Sangre Violeta: the violence that exists in non-heterosexual relationships, or within feminist collectives, or at the heart of the LGTBQ+ struggle is perhaps less familiar and more awkward to show. Breaking the silence and ending the shame is the aim of this performance in 6 acts, through which Diana will expose the various ‘internal’ types of violence that stalk us from her personal experience and research, throwing a little light on one of the darker areas within the field of dissent. How to heal an invisible wound? How to speak with a tongue broken by fear? Enough hypocrisy already!

Diana J. Torres (Madrid, 1981), a.k.a. La Pornoterrorista, is a multidisciplinary performance artist who focuses her work on reclaiming sexuality, the self-governing body, peripheral identities and the lines between pleasure and pain. Using poetic voice, direct action, video and other elements, Diana stages genuine collective rituals for transformation and learning. Her messages are clear: anarchism, transfeminism and a proposal for revolution and change that begins within ourselves, from a position of enjoyment and nonconformity. Her performances are not suitable for persons sensitive to blood, live sex or who are uncomfortable with nudity. (+18)
