Sound and written word, spoken words and thoughts weave together the experiences of Cesáreo Casino at the front in Spain’s Civil War: stories fragmented by the effect time has on memory; words encountered in speeches; words repeated so often that they disappear, die or resuscitate depending on the wave that catches them.

I would describe my work as the juxtaposition of my academic career and my professional experience in the fields of stage management, text-based theatre, choreography and performance, which for some years I’ve been developing using video, sound and live arts. In my most recent projects I’ve been conducting a search for identity using a variety of disciplines based on the body and in text.
