Júlia Vernet Gaudes, who holds a degree in Philosophy and a Master’s degree in Contemporary Thought and Classical Tradition from the University of Barcelona (2018 and 2019), has specialised in thinkers such as Kant and Arendt, particularly in relation to the philosophy of mind, aesthetics, and issues surrounding the imagination and freedom. She is currently pursuing her PhD studies with the Philosophy and Gender Seminar (UB), exploring the question of imagination in 20th-century feminist philosophical thought. She has experience in the world of dance as an amateur ballet and contemporary dancer, focusing on learning Flying Low and improvisation techniques. She works in the field of conceptualisation and management with the dance company LaCerda, based in Barcelona. Since 2018, she has been contributing to Núvol as a performing arts critic and as an editor covering cultural events related to thought and philosophy.

Two people try to reconstruct what happened during a night of partying. A night that, perhaps, is many nights. And you, perhaps, were also there. What remains when there’s nothing left? Maybe only the idea of you and me. Here. The sediment of memory in these impassive bodies. Maybe fragments of life, the delirium of something that was or wasn’t. Some clue. The conflict between what we must remember, what we have to forget, and what we need to transform.  But if only you and I remain here, maybe that is enough. Records i Ficcions is a proposal that plays with the boundaries between memory and creation. Fragility, distortion, irony and absurdity gradually transform the relationship and the journey of the piece.

Agnès Balfegó Brull is a multidisciplinary creator and performer. Her work engages with the body, voice, absurdity, and improvisation to explore new performative languages. Driven by this curiosity, she has developed proposals such as the solo piece Brindis (2025), winner of the Certamen Coreográfico de Madrid MM&I 2024-2025, and Records i Ficcions (2026), her first full-length piece created with Albert Barros. Her solo debut, EIXOS (2021), has received awards and has been presented at several festivals. She has performed in works by Jesús Rubio Gamo, Silvia Batet, Colectivo Lamajara, Poliana Lima, and Laimperfecta, and is a member of the vocal improvisation group Veus Lliures.
