Oasis of Serenity is a solitary figure, an oblique path, a diverted decision. There’s more than one story to be told. On the other hand, the limits imposed by linear timelines and human perception are broken through. I’ve been introducing this line of investigation into my choreographic thought methods, and this has materialised in an exploration of images and my hormones understood as potential, invisible dramaturgs. Imagine a crack opening on the ground as you walk on it. Unconnected movements and a sweet, dark techno melody make your memories and invisible presences manifest there, in the landscape behind the crack. Oasis of Serenity is here to transfer its tragedy.
