If María Eloy-García is unique and the chosen among the chosen for anything, it’s for her voice on stage as the focal point, capable of irony and sarcasm that allow her to move from silence to laughter. María Eloy-García is from Malaga, born in the 70s and with degrees in Geography and History. She has taken part in and been published in a number of national magazines, and has been translated into German, English, Italian, Portuguese, Galician, Greek, Serbian, Croatian, Macedonian and even Catalan. She coordinated the first and second Malaga International Poetry Weeks and from the start has been the recipient of numerous poetry awards. Los habitantes del Panorama is her fifth book to be published, although she has featured in so many anthologies and translations that it would be a bore to enumerate them.
