Andre is a show where objects such as floats, plastic bags, and a compressor are manipulated.
Andre is also a friend.
Andre is my friend. Even if I’m being a bastard, he understands me.
If I need something, I ask Andre, and he has the solution.
When you’re in the elevator and you don’t know what to do, you can talk to Andre.
If I get a flat tyre on my car, I call Andre.
Time with him passes very fast.
I love playing against him, I always win.
If I have to move house, Andre is ready and prepared to help me.
Andre is here, he is now, he is every day.
Today is my birthday, and as usual, he knows how to surprise me.
Since I met Andre, my life has changed.

La Belle Journée are a company founded in 2016 by Francesco Caspini and Andrea Sperotto, who met for the first time in 2001 at the Flic circus school in Torino, Italy, where they both trained, and together created the show Andiamo Avanti which they perform in the squares and at the festivals of Italy.

In 2009 their paths diverged: Francesco went on to train at the Toulouse Lido and created the show Al Cubo (with company Betti Combo, receiving the innovation award at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain 2014), while Andrea worked with various dance and circus companies and in 2016 devised the show Canards (Sugar Company – first stage of Circus Next 2015-2016).

After 7 years of experiencing different things, they’ve got back together for their new piece Andre based around object manipulation.
