foXXY boXXY proposes a collective bewitching that constructs frameworks for us so we can repeatedly re-inhabit the positions assigned to us by the structure of domination that seeks to subjugate us. It erects a device of encounters between the performers, the audience, and the hegemonic sexual mandate. The piece is composed of sexual choreographies as well as the intimate relation woven with the unexpected and the unknown. Simultaneity, sex, tedium, desire, tension, hypnosis, violence, hallucination. It forges a radically anti-fascist collective bodily practice that collectivises the experience of desire and the violence we conceal in order to, perhaps, find some fortuitous escapes that might serve as a portal to the unknown.
p0rn0t0pia collective: as an open collective, we engage in direct action through performance, discursive and political development, and the collective exploration of desire-discomfort. We occupy spaces of stage representation by challenging and reinterpreting theatrical conventions. Our work is grounded in collective laboratories that act as strategies of openness within collectivisation processes, driven by a firm commitment to nurture and strengthen dissident networks within the communities we engage with. We are resident collective at Nau Ivanow (2024–2028), and foXXY boXXY is our third research project, which will have its international premiere at Black Box Teater in Oslo in November 2025.
