Dj Lamar – Buenos Aires

Marcos Zappia / Dj Lamar began his relationship with music at the age of 15, when he started studying piano — the instrument that would mark the beginning of his artistic vocation. This first encounter laid the foundation for his musical development, which solidified in 2019 with his entry into music production. In 2021, he deepened his training in DJing, a discipline in which he has since stood out, performing in various venues across Buenos Aires. Upon completing his academic studies, he discovered his affinity for vinyl mixing — a craft he adopted exclusively after being captivated by its expressive potential. Marcos Zappia’s approach is defined by technical precision rooted in the only vinyl format, with sets ranging from house to techno, always influenced by the classic sounds of the late ’90s and early 2000s. Groove lies at the heart of his mixes, allowing him to create immersive and dynamic atmospheres that connect deeply with the audience at every performance.

Spy Dj – Barcelona

A regular DJ on the Barcelona club scene for over 20 years, his passion for vinyl mixing began in the late ’90s. In 2001, he debuted as a resident at Neón in Nitsa, temporarily taking part in the club’s programming. Known as a tireless promoter of the electro sound, he has organized parties, contributed to and created various record labels (Útil Récords, Gente Seria Viste Chándal, and Electroclub), and performed live under the alias The Bandit in numerous clubs across Catalonia, other Spanish cities, and even abroad. In recent years, he has stood out for performances at some of the most important venues in Barcelona, as well as in Valencia, Madrid, Gijón, Granada, and Pamplona. Although sometimes considered an electro purist, Spy DJ also explores styles such as electroclash, EBM-adjacent techno, and classic techno.

VISUAL SESSIONS

Melanie Wifi VJ

The night Melanie Wifi was born, the sky over Berlin was cold, but the beer and the sauerkraut were warm. Her VJ sets are so crazy, delightful and filled with irony that the audience’s pupils spin like Duchamp spirals. Images generated in real time are filtered, mixed and remixed to reveal a visual drift so chaotic that the law of entropy becomes clear, the pixel becomes sublimated and glitchart turns into one of The Songs of Maldoror.

Melanie Wifi is a visual artist, known on the contemporary scene in Barcelona for her sessions as a VJ at Antic Teatre, Arco de La Virgen and various art galleries. She has collaborated with musicians such as Zozobra, poets such as Juan Muñoz, and festivals such as EXABRUPTO. She combines video, collage and live glitch art to create a visual experience charged with aesthetics, social criticism and irony.
