El temps a través d’un forat is a visual theatre piece that uses scale models to explore the reconstruction of three spaces through memory. In this staged exploration, the model becomes the central axis of a visual and speculative narrative, activating a delicate, playful perspective on the everyday. The aim is to highlight domestic space as a catalyst for the imagination, journeying through real locations (such as grandma’s pantry, the kitchen or the staircase to the attic) that are reconstructed from memory.
Aina Roca Mora is an architect and scenographer. Her work focuses on the exploration of tools to study space and how it can become a narrative trigger. She holds a degree in Architecture (2015) and a Master’s in Architecture (2016) from the University of Girona (UdG). In 2018, she moved to the Netherlands, where she obtained a Master’s degree in Scenography from HKU (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht) in 2020. Since then, her professional practice moves between architecture, scenography, and experimental research. She is currently pursuing a PhD at BAU/UVic-UCC, exploring the narrative potential of domestic spaces. Together with Elsa van der Linden and Cecilia Berghäll they created Ellipsis, a collective that experiments with theatre of objects, sound and light, and whose work has been shown at venues such as Theater Kikker in Utrecht and the IJ Festival in Amsterdam, among others. She is the coordinator of the Bachelor’s Thesis department and an associate professor at BAU (University Center for Arts and Design Barcelona), as well as a visiting lecturer at the University of Barcelona (UB) and HKU.
