DVOYE explores the paradox of human connection: the tension between independence and the invisible threads that bind us. Through the abstraction of House Dance and UK Jazz Fusion footwork, Marina Pravkina and Alesya Dobysh create games in which rhythms are shared, interrupted and transformed. Synchronisation gives way to disruption; individual impulses reshape a common pulse. Like two bodies in a shared orbit, each follows her own trajectory, altered by the other’s presence. Even in separation, shared movement leaves its imprint. Between control and surrender, structure and spontaneity, the duet examines connection as a multilayered dynamic process that is continuously negotiated, constructed, and reconfigured.

Marina Pravkina and Alesya Dobysh are choreographers, performers and curators based between the Netherlands and Spain. They met in the street and club dance scene, rooted in House Dance and UK Jazz Fusion. Drawing on battles, festivals and independent contemporary dance study, they connect footwork with composition and performative research. Since 2020, they have explored footwork abstraction, rhythm, interdependence and play, transforming club practices into stage language. Their first duet, Re.titled, won the XV Certamen Coreogràfic de Sabadell and evolved into DVOYE, presented at KunstKapel in Amsterdam, in Berlin and Shanghai, at Tanečno Festival in Slovakia and Spectrum Festival in Villach, Austria.
