Where is the real? Out there. And most likely in very bad shape.
Surrounded by old cameras and obsolete television sets, Chou Chou stages distractions to trick the Darkness that constantly threatens him. Suggesting an absurd game, he plunges the audience into his own tragi-comic delirium. Wearing briefs and a puffer jacket, Federico Robledo embodies this eccentric character, trapped in his extreme solitude, joyfully isolating himself from the programmed obsolescence of his own species.
First solo piece by the artist Federico Robledo from La Société Protectrice de Petites Idées; a polymorphic company from Guingamp that create shows like home-made superproductions. Their work is full of energy, dance, absurdity, acting, music, circus, and high-quality handcrafted special effects.
