Fila Zero is a performing arts fanzine driven by young people between 18 and 30 years old, members of Novaveu (the millennial and generation Z group of Recomana.cat). We have chosen the fanzine format because it allows us to express ourselves with total freedom, without censorship, without editions. Fila Zero tells what we want to say, whether mainstream culture likes it or not. Fila Zero is a project that talks about theatre live arts and culture, in its broadest definition, combining rigour and curiosity, freshness and reflection. All from a contemporary viewpoint –and a bit trashy, why not? -, Far removed from the elites. And we’ve had enough of only seeing the dinosaurs of culture, who give their opinions from the impunity and comfort of the VIP row.
It’s said that sequels are never any good. That it’s easy to repeat yourself or have nothing else to say. Nevertheless, we have decided to come back and publish a second issue of Fila Zero, the millennial and generation Z performing arts fanzine!
We return with the effort that this entails at a time like this, but with the satisfaction of the results obtained with the first issue. Your trust is the blood that keeps us alive!
And now that the pandemic allows us to do so, we want to make an act of presentation of the fanzine taking advantage of the launch of the second issue. We will explain how Fila Zero was born, comment on some sections, read unpublished texts from the two issues and have a debate on performing arts.
Reserve your place by sending an email to: somnovaveu@gmail.com putting “Presentation” in the subject of the mail.
Novaveu is a project promoted by Recomana.cat and made up of more than 40 young people with an interest in the world of performing arts. Since 2016 we have been trying to bring young people closer to this sector by creating both written and audiovisual content.
