LP is a show about playing with the limits of music. Starting with the “song” as an object, the piece works at de-composing and re-composing these little universes of sound to examine all their dramaturgical and performative possibilities. Applying concepts that vary from the technical to the emotional or biographic, the piece travels from one song to the next weaving an intimate, musical thread to be shared.

Paula Miralles is a performance arts creator and manager.

Between 2002 and 2015 she worked as an actress in numerous stage projects.

From 2006 to 2017 she worked with electroacoustic composer David Alarcón on various projects focusing on voice, sound, music, and the stage. From 2015 to 2017, she and David Alarcón, Esther Vidal, and Pilar Parreño came up with the COLECTIVO MORTERO ensemble and created several pieces that combine violin, viol, electroacoustics, and vocals.

She is currently a member of TALLER PLACER together with Vicente Arlandis, Miguel Ángel Martínez, Violeta Ros, and Aina Vidal. This is a space through which they put forward activities related to philosophy, sound, literature, politics, and performing arts.

In 2018 she premiered her first solo piece, LP, a work of voice and sound starting from a repertory of pop-rock songs from the 90s. Since then, her creative work has centred on voice, language, and body.
