Barcelona, XXI century. Right now, someone, at this very moment, began what will be his first show. This is a mental idea. This idea will be born, grow and become real. Autònoma is the birth, growth and gestation of this idea and all the legal and creative happenings for which the artist has to go through to see the birth and reality of this idea. Autònoma reflects the world of independent artist in our contemporary.

The company Pelipolaca is born as a result of the conjunction between Néstor Reina and Irene Vicente, two creators of different artistic disciplines but with many points in common. Writer, fashion and costume designer and advertising stylist the first and scenic director and interpreter, as well as art historian the second, decide to found a company in which all the disciplines that dominate are conjugated with practically the same value and weight. They have grown up together and created amateur shows, as well as participating in various cultural events. They have taken since a very young age an interest in literature and art in general to understand the human condition in today’s society and translate it into their art, ask questions and try Solve them from an artistic process and a final product root of this same process.
