This staged proposal arises from the writings of Ingeborg Bachmann (+ info). By means of her ever-present voice we question our deepest humanity, revealing the ambivalence of a world that, despite being cruel, alienating, limiting, and making it hard for us to live our lives freely, allows us to experience a most subtle beauty within it. During these thirty years, we take a round trip together to and from oblivion, opening fissures in the times of memory and celebrating the encounter.

Toni Cots and Esther Freixa i Ràfols have collaborated since 2007, establishing a continuous dialogue related to Performance Arts. Together they have created an artistic language that confronts the viewer’s gaze using a variety of approaches to body and text, characterised by a poetry of intimacy that searches for how a theatrical event can become a shared place with the spectator.
Their last creation, Medea (a la carte), has been presented 137 times over ten years, in private homes, galleries, theatres and festivals in Europe, Lebanon, Mexico, Venezuela and Argentina.
30 years – a poetic act of resistance is the continuation of this research process started eleven years ago.
They also collaborate with the CRA’P project (www.cra-p.org) in the field of cultural management, through which they develop different proposals based on research, creation, training and production.
