POLS is a Live Arts proposal to promote contemporary Performing Arts productions and promote the creators of Live Arts, with plural artistics works.
For this first edition we present four creations by artists linked to CRA’P – creation and artistic research practices, from Mollet del Vallès.
CRA’P is a physical space where different artistic processes are worked, and at the same time it is a meeting place that facilitates the exchange between creators and interested people, through activities and programmes that build networks and establish collaborations.

Atlantis2019. Esbós d’un paisatge – new body languages
Atlantis2019 refers to the myth of a civilisation that disappeared due to a catastrophe.
The title is updated every year. This updating affects the procedural and unfinished character of the research, which doesn’t point towards a specific goal but rather to a practice that is constantly confronted with the present moment.
The main axis of work is body memory, especially in relation to the territory(ies), addressing not only personal memory, but also all inherited and collective memory. It is an immersive piece, reaching depths where fiction and reality are no longer discernible. [+] INFO

Cuerpo-Documento. Serie 1 – new body languages
Cuerpo-Documento (Body-Document) is a performance research project conceived as a multidisciplinary performative archive. It focuses on the female body as a document, as a place of encounter and debate. As a potentially poetic space. This work experiments with the limits of installation, choreography and performance, exploring through different languages such as video, photography and iconography. The Body-Document archive contains different independent folders, in the form of short pieces, that establish dialogue with each other according to how they are presented. Series One is composed of four folders: 1. Gangway; 2. Anatomy of a collection; 3. To be many and not to be any; 4. Apparitions[+] INFO

30 years, a poetic act of resistance – new drama
This staged proposal arises from the writings of ingeborg bachmann. By means of her ever-present voice we question our deepest humanity, revealing the ambivalence of a world that, despite being cruel, alienating, limiting, and making it hard for us to live our lives freely, allows us to experience a most subtle beauty within it. During these thirty years, we take a round trip together to and from oblivion, opening fissures in the times of memory and celebrating the encounter[+] INFO

Likes – new body languages

Likes bases itself on the analysis of two popular YouTube phenomena: dance cover tutorials and videos on different yoga techniques. The artist approaches the audience from a socio-anthropological perspective with commentary on the social value of a “like” in our digital culture and society. The piece is a fresh and choreographic look at the presence of the body in the digital age[+] INFO
